The Emptiness of Content Marketing
I keep thinking about an IRL conversation I had with a twitter friend in Boise.
We were talking about our content that had gone viral and breaking down potential formulas for success.
But the more we talked about it, the more reticent both of us became to wanting to continue down that road. We kept coming back to the same word. Empty. We didn't want to keep going. It felt fake.
When I'm not making, and by that I mean creating a business that provides value to the world, all of my self marketing and promotion efforts, well, they're just thoughts. It's hollow.
