Sugar, we're going down

Last month, I realized that caffeine makes me manic. So my curious self decided to experiment w/ varying levels of caffeine (turns out even just half a coca-cola makes me weird) and now, sugar.

This week I tried eating chocolate cake and ice cream, and recording my mood/actions before and after partaking. And guess whattt? Sugar fucks me up too!

It also lowers my inhibitions... I almost did something SO irresponsible after eating a bunch of chocolate cake and I caught myself mid-action and was like WTF ARE YOU DOING OMGG IT'S THE FUCKING SUGAR AHH and I gasped dramatically, then I threw away the cake.

It also made me volunteer for something until 12:30 in the morning... which did the world a bit of good but like wtf? Sugar!

I think... drum roll please...

That living a healthy life actually contributes to a healthy mind! Who knew? /s


PS: Okay, but who knew that sugar and caffeine both lowered inhibitions? We all know alcohol does that, but my matcha latte? My slice of pecan pie (or whichever dessert you love in your country)? It does it too! I'm kind of mind-blown.
