Tweeting

Mar 30, 2021

In a tweet, you have to disseminate a ton of useful knowledge in just 280 characters. It forces you to get serious about effective, concise communication.

Therefore, if I get good at tweeting, then I'll provide more value in most of my interactions!

But learning to tweet better, means that some of it has to suck in order for me to intuitively know what works. It's daunting because I don't want to scare off my audience while I'm in the trenches.

But then I remember that famous photography experiment where one group was told to create one picture the best they could, and the other group was just told to take as many pictures as possible, and the 'quantity' group ended up with better photos than the 'quality' group.

In order to get great at tweeting, I gotta actually tweet a ton. Let's hope I don't scare everyone away.
